You must have a current Learner's Licence with you whilst under driving instruction.
We provide practical driving lessons which
include training and assessment in the following areas:
Car controls eg. mirrors, lights, indicators, wipers
Vehicle operation eg. pedals, turning, merging, roundabouts
Manoeuvres eg. reverse park, u-turn, hill starts
General driving skills eg. application of the road rules
Defensive driving skills eg. steering, braking, hazards, posture
Pre-test training and assessment is offered to all our students. Students often request that we help them to fine-tune their driving skills, and prepare them thoroughly for the practical driving test. We are also able to provide refresher lessons to students who already hold a current licence but may require further driver training.
The number of lessons each learner driver requires will differ from person to person. We will constantly discuss your progress and the number of lessons you will require prior to your practical test.
Once the basic skills have been mastered, it's most important for you to get plenty of practice in a variety of conditions. Governmental research indicates that learners who have a lot of practice are less likely to have a crash after obtaining their provisional licence.
